Timepass to a thought!

I have always liked traveling in a bus. I have traveled in bus on my own from my 10th. There are so many funny and uncomfortable situations you land up in. The tough time you have asking the plump lady to take her sandals off your feet, the “god-bless” you get when you get up for an old or pregnant lady, the peace in the chaos, the happiness of dozing off, the smile while reading a book, the pleasure of listening to music, and the fact that some people you meet there make you think sometimes. I had one such conversation today.

I happened to get a seat today and was happily reading a book. One girl sits next to me. As Indiranagar approaches, I put away the book and gaze outside the window.

The conversation was started by her.

She : Which book is that?

Me : It’s “The Search” about google and search engines.

She : Oh!

Me : (Smile)

She : Where do you work ?

Me : I work in a company here in Indiranagar.

(A small pause there)

Me : What have you studied ?

She : I have done my B.Com.

Me : From?

She : N.M.K.R.V (She tries to explain it to me , its in Jayanagar and all that stuff, I tell her that I know)

Me : What do you do now?

She : Stay at home.

Me : Waiting to get married ?

She : Yes, they are looking for a guy. (Smiles very much)

Me : (I start asking whether the bus takes a right near KFC and she asks me to get down at the next stop.)

That left me in a wonder. Whether I would be so happy about marriage. I never was(when the topic comes I mean :) ). The responsibility, commitment and adjustment. . .

Sanguine

Crowds pass by
but your face
never seems to
fade away

Mystery does clog my brain
still that question remains
why do I find it so hard
to let go of you?

Love is nothing at all
but it has everything put in
In this confused reality
I pass my days

But there’s no lingering doubt
about my faith
This is all I
want my world to be

This is what
keeps me Sanguine
that’s what
keeps me alive

Relentless vexation

Relentlessly I tried
to hide all my feelings
made my own little world
to ensure that I
was not hurt

Did not care what
others thought of me
But it hurt others
and that hurt me too!

Should I be
careless or careful?
that still boggles me!
There’s still this query
Whether it was worth
the worry at all?

Sunshine in my life

This is for my sis. Its her birthday today. Thought of this stupid idea. :|

Charming and bubbly
she comes in
breathes fresh air
into your life.

Annoying as she is
she takes you into her
child-like world
Telling you to get a life
She makes you smile too!

Having the same likes and thoughts
we have come a long way
They call us twins
Huh! No ways ! :)

Tantrums were thrown
Stupid fights ensued
But it is still her advice
that I wanna hear
Still her chirpiness I adore

Amusingly irksome
her constant teasing maybe
But I will still always love
the adorable Smi. :)

Happy Birthday Smi :)

Eloquence

You came into my life
with lightning speed
Changed my life
where all seems bliss

Strange as this
language seems
I dwindled on these paths
to know it was true

Day and night your
remembrance is marked
in my happiness ,
in my sorrow

Afraid that your
face will fade away
I sheltered the
memories in my heart

Flashes of your face
appear in front of my eyes
It seems imminent
every other day

I try so hard
to erase it
But I somehow
cant ,
and I somehow
don’t want to. :)

Molding my life!

People come and go in your life. Each one does teach you something whether you inherently know it or not.Well understanding and incorporating the changes to improve your life is up to you. As my well wisher pointed out once, knowing and understanding may be interlinked but they are slightly different.

Each person I came across in my life has taught me something in my life.To admire qualities in them which I would like to incorporate in my life.To forget about the negative things in them. Of all the people I can think of, these people have made a significant influence in my life, my way of thinking and the way I live my life. There are other people who have contributed the same to my life. But somehow I consider these 4 as my role models who have been in my life to give it a fresh outlook.

One calm and poised.Cautious to the core.Ideal person with a little tinge of short temper which I exemplify as well.Talks very less but when you make him talk he has an ocean of knowledge still waiting to quench your thirst. You ask him any question , he has the explanation for the same.I adore and admire him for the sense of knowledge, the sense of judgment and immense faith and patience he has, in matters not under his control.

She reverberates the superb energy with such happiness and confidence which makes me spellbound. She makes me take a new look at life each time and each day.Advises me.Irritates me.But at the end of it all, I have seen what she can make out of her life in such a small span of time. She has made my life into the most beautiful thing by her constant interference, interrogation and interruption. Would have never known about the precious thing called life, which may be so short yet so many things that you can do and there’s an easy way out of being lethargic but what difference does it make if you are like everybody!

Patience is his virtue. clear and concise with the usage of words.Confuses you as to how you answer to the strong meaning he implies, even if you agree with him or not. and that’s why I admire him.Well organized. Positive thinking is in his blood. Nothing can deter him.Someone who doesn’t always take credit for what he did to change my perspective of life.Someone so kind and caring yet so childlike.Characteristics resolute with humility and sheer modesty that strikes you. He’s bound to be in my good books always.

Straight forward, to the point.
His energy makes me wonder whether I will be the same when I become a little old. He defines that age is what you assume yourself to feel and act.It s not a number at all. He rushes into your world to give you advice even before you ask for one.His tales of his past college life makes you laugh. He gives you the confidence to live life positively by narrating his tale. Yeah! He does talk a lot. But that comes with a lot of knowledge.Someone who has a lot of confidence in himself and his abilities. When he says something works, it does work!Seldom is he wrong and rarely does it classify as over confidence. He knows his uniqueness and accepts the ridicule his fellow mates bestow upon him with a smiling face.

These are the people who have made my life more beautiful to live in.
P.S. : Not the ones below! :)

About me

What do you know
about this gal you’ve known
in years rolled by
and time running through
you ask yourself
then say what’s more

Right and wrong notions
surround you
But I always wanted to
showcase the best that I could
Awry as my logic seems
that’s what keeps me
going you see

I laugh, I cry
I make you smile
I relentlessly try
to convey feelings
that overwhelm me
Some call me selfish
some selfless
But what do I care
Well,I take my life
in my own stride

Then a thought strikes me
when I ask myself
what do I know about this gal
Then I profoundly am
forced to confess
It might take a lifetime
to achieve the same :)

Perfect Movie!

Do you want to catch a tune with the video having a full movie then try Katy Perry’s Thinking of you. It’s just perfect with the world war kinda settings.Love the video and the song as well. :)

Lyrics :

Comparisons are easily done
Once you’ve had a taste of perfection
Like an apple hanging from a tree
I picked the ripest one
I still got the seed

(PRE)
You said move on
Where do I go
I guess second best
Is all I will know

(CHORUS)
Cause when I’m with him
I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if
You were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I
Was looking into your eyes

(V2)
You’re like an Indian summer
In the middle of winter
Like a hard candy
With a surprise center
How do I get better
Once I’ve had the best
You said there’s
Tons of fish in the water
So the waters I will test

(PRE)
He kissed my lips
I taste your mouth
He pulled me in
I was disgusted with myself

(CHORUS)
Cause when I’m with him
I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if
You were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I
Was looking into…

(BRIDGE)
You’re the best
And yes I do regret
How I could let myself
Let you go
Now the lesson’s learned
I touched it I was burned
Oh I think you should know

(CHORUS)
Cause when I’m with him
I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if
You were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I
Was looking into your…

Your eyes
Looking into your eyes
Looking into your eyes
Oh won’t you walk through
And bust in the door and
Take me away
Oh no more mistakes
Cause in your eyes I’d like to stay

All that Jazz

A day well spent is behind me now.I would not bore you with the list of things that I did. The one thing I wanted to share was that I was watching Spiderman 3 today and this jazz number called I’m through with love that Mary Jane sings at the end of the movie was so stuck in my head.I have always been a lover of jazz.It all started with Somewhere over the rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo and then moved onto Frank Sinatra(Time after Time, I love you , My one and only love,I’ve got you under my skin,I’ll never smile again to name some). Well coming to the point,I used Google to offer a solution. But it offered me more than that :) .

Lyrics :
I’m through with love
I’ll never fall again
Said adieu to love
Don’t ever call again
For I must have you or no one
And so I’m through with love

I’ve locked my heart
I’ll keep my feelings there
I’ve stocked my heart
With icy frigid aire
And I mean to care for no one
Because I’m through with love

Why did you leave me
To think you could care
You didn’t need me
you had your share
Of slaves around you
To hound you and swear
The deep emotion
Devotion to you

Goodbye to spring
And all it meant to me
It can never bring
The thing that used to be
For I must have you or no one
And so I’m through with love

And so I’m through with
Baby, I’m through with love …

Love the lyrics and the fact that, this song just helped me reaffirm my love for jazz. Feel so happy. :)
