A Hard Bargain ! Introvert or Extrovert?

My friend put forward this thought.  She was telling me she still did not understand the concept of blogging.  She argued that putting one’s thoughts onto a blog would make all the people know about all her personal feelings and likes, which most of us don’t prefer.  But I argued that all of us aren’t the same.  Just like she never read blogs , there are people exact opposite of her who love reading blogs.  So apparently we agreed to disagree and the argument was amicably resolved.

I completely  accept that I don’t post all my feelings and likes onto my blog.  Well, there are certain limits that I don’t cross either. Then comes  that thought.  Should I be an introvert or an extrovert?

Having had a hard time trying to be a complete introvert,  I  seemed to get back to my old  self.  I used to talk in minimal words just to avoid lengthy conversations.  Just a word or two and no smileys.  Then I realized that I was not meant to be that way. I concluded that I was better off being an ambivert (or partial extrovert) than being the extreme introvert.  Came back to my original self with some experience and  insight. Who would want to miss keeping in touch with friends within the possible limits and the information galore you get with anything under the sun from tech to politics to whose wedding is it next(The wait for the food begins :) . Ah! Shameless me :| ) .  After the end of the addictive phase of the chats and the social networking sites, now its the turn of twitter to make me get in touch and keep my virtual world alive.  So much for a thought! :)

  1. This reminds of a phrase (which abhi had previously mentioned in other post)

(@abhi: i did not copy your english translation.. i dint want to do it..some of the things are best when they are original :) )

  2. Oh yeah.. G-talk is a bore these days.. That thought of staying online and waiting for someone to come along so that u can bug him/her now brings a feeling of boredom.. And yeah, twitter rocks…
And about this notion that all bloggers put out their inner feelings- thats a fallacy according to me. You can do a lot more on blogs than just putting out ur inner feelings.. Rant against bad roads, rant about India’s loss in world cups, admire Deepika padukone’s legs, discuss about the recent i-phone.. There is simply so much you can do.

  3. dat’s true . . U can do more dan just put out ur inner feelings. . Talk about anything under the sun and u don really care who’s listening or not. .
